Additional Information
These high-quality battery terminals represent a breakthrough in manufacturing technology! The connection point to the battery terminal is formed out of lead, and the crimping barrel is tinned copper. This provides for maximum conductivity and minimum resistance between the battery terminal and cable terminal, as well as minimum corrosion over time. Previously, the only way to get a lead terminal connected to a cable was by casting the terminal directly onto the cable.
Available in positive and negative with the gauge and polarity marked on the terminal. Tin plated bolt and shoulder nut included.
* These terminals are the tinned copper style. Once current stock is depleted, future orders may be replaced with hybrid lead/copper lug design described above.
Accepted Wire Types
Battery Cable, Welding Cable, Marine Tinned Battery Cable, SAE Battery Cable, Type W Cable, DLO Cable, Jumper & Booster Cable, Grounding Cable, Car Audio Power Wire, and other flexible stranded cable types. (Not intended for stiff NEC type building wire sizes as lugs are sized to accept flexible stranding)
Assembly Instructions
Use either a diamond or hex crimper. Soldering not recommended. |
