This 1310 end yoke fits on the drive shaft of all WarP motors, including the ImPulse 9. It is useful for direct coupling the motors to a driveshaft, or to facilitate coupling two motors together where angular alignment cannot be guaranteed.

A U-Joint is the coupler between two yokes. The style of the U-Joint must match the yoke. To connect a 1350 yoke to another 1350 yoke, use a 1350 U-Joint kit. The 1310 to 1350 conversion U-Joint is used where one yoke is a 1310 and the other is a 1350. The 1310 model is shown in the picture. The other models will look similar.

The yoke shaft can be used in conjunction with a slip yoke assembly to provide a telescoping driveline connection. An example where this would be needed is when coupling motor fixed to the chassis to a differential that is moving up and down. The lenght of the driveshaft connection will be changing in this situation.

When coupled with part number 301-3-3-2591KX below, the total length of the assembly is about 12.5" fully extended. Fully compressed, total length is about 10.75" with total travel about 1.75".

This is a 3/8-16 set screw. It's advantage over a standard style set screw is the ability to apply greater torque when setting it, and the ability to use a lock wire to ensure the set screw doesn't vibrate loose.
