This superior quality tinned cable is UL listed and meets or exceeds all the requirements of the US Coast Guard, ABYC and other regulatory bodies.
The extra flexible Type 3 tinned copper stranding of this cable makes it easy to route and bend as well as absorb vibration which can damage connections.
Uses
Marine electrical & electronic use, including commercial and recreational pleasure craft, motor, generator and battery leads to switch, starter, or ground, heavy tools, power extensions, windlass, inverter, equipment and appliance wiring.
Meets UL Standard 1426 (BC-5W2) for Boat Cable, UL Appliance Wiring Material AWM 1232/1283 (#6-#2), AWM 1234/1284 (#1-#4/0), CSA Type TEW, ABYC E-8.14 & E-9.14, Coast Guard 33 CFR part 183 subpart I, and NMMA.
Construction
Extra flexible Type 3 rope stranded tinned copper conductor. PVC insulation is resistant to acid, alkalis, abrasion, flame, gasoline, oil, ozone, moisture, and fungus.
