No More Internal Combustion

This page is devoted to showing the 200sx in its final hours of Internal Combustion life. Taking a car from working condition to a dismantled state with the hope of an electric life is certainly a leap of faith into the unknown. I have never taken a ride in an electric vehicle - never even seen one with my own eyes. But I know it's possible!

Photo session of the 200sx before converting.

Notice the tailpipe. This is the only noticeable difference after the conversion.

I sort of went crazy taking pictures.

Ever notice how some vehicles have a best angle? This is the 200sx's

This is probably a repeat

I happened to have my camera with me on the last gas fillup.

The day of the last drive using gasoline. This side of the vehicle really needs some TLC, i.e bodywork. A full paint job is in the plans.

Snow in late April - nature's thanks for going no-gas!

Getting ready to pull life-support.

The fuel pump connector. The gas engine is running as this picture is snapped.

The 200sx begins it's final dirty, wheezy breaths

Final emissions that the 200sx will emit.

See the sputters of exhaust? That's it!

Me, after the deed is done. You can see the prototype cardboard box batteries in the new battery racks. I worked on those while driving in gas-mode for a few months.
